But NOT ESPN voted best P4P #1 of the last 25 years and for sure Hall of Famer.

You really think losing to Salido is the same as losing to Floyd???

As many say, Canelo tried to box Floyd. Even that though, Canelo had some great counters against Floyd. Moretti even gave Canelo 4 rounds. CJ Ross acknowledged that and gave 2 more swing rounds in favor of Canelo. I still think Canelo lost, but Canelo is the only guy after Cotto whom had Floyd fight serious. Floyd didn't even attempt 154 with Canelo the same way he didnt attempt 144 with Marquez...

Just because Lara pot shotted a couple each round doesn't mean it favored over combo attempts to the body. If you want to go by the point system, Canelo outpointed Lara.

whom are the Trouts, Lara, Floyd, or GGG on Crawford or Loma's resumes?
Forget the judges Look at the floyd fight again with the sound off, that was a complete domination.

I agree the marquez fight was pointless but canelo was legit and he had in there swinging for the fences and canelo was the top guy at the time.

lara outlanded canelo that and made him look silly with a basic straight left hand all night, most of the critics thought lara had won night.

Just having a bunch of names on your resume doesnt make you great, you need to win convincingly and he has not done that with alot of big names, its funny you didnt mention the first ggg and canelo fight as one of his masterful performances.

Terrence has beat olmypians, multi division chapions thats why is number 1. Why doesnt any hold p4p list has canelo higher then number 3.

He’s lucky to be on any P4P list PED using cheat with all his BS decisions. The difference between him and other champions is guys like Crawford or Loma either KO their guys or win every round to a decision they don’t get some BS gift decision or draw

Yep. I have been saying this for quite some time. I love Crawford, and skill for skill one would think he is the best, but the resume is what proves it, and Canelo has the best resume in boxing right now. Maybe there are some guys under 118 with great resumes that I am not familiar with, but as far as mainstream fighters go, Canelo owns this. P4P #1 with a side of tainted beef.

Yea man. From my recollection, Canelo barely touched Floyd. This was an EASY nights work for Mayweather. I remember when the Ross card was read, the people at the party were looking at each other like "Huh??"

Takes nothing away from Alvarez. He was young, and he tried. He got dominated, but he bounced back and now he is the best thing smoking in boxing.

Every time I start to like canelo he goes and reminds me how full of himself he is. And just for clarity, there's a difference between being egocentric and confident.

If he beats Kovalev, Canelo should be p4p #1.

We can make an argument that he is second to Loma, and slightly ahead of Crawford and Spence. Crawford needs to get his career in gear, not sure how he'll be able to accomplish that unless he either signs with PBC or accepts a lower percentage of purse in order to get fights with them. His career has stalled for the moment. Canelo has the momentum going for him right now going into the Kovalev fight.
