Thing with Kell Brook is he was pushed heavily by sky sports partially through the matchroom/hearn connection and partially because Johnny Nelson trains in the Ingle gym too. He had the likes of Spencer Fearon and Carl Froch pushing him too. They tried to put a lot of pressure on Amir to take the Kell Brook fight.
There seemed to be a collective effort to stitch up Amir and watch him get ko'd hard and im certain Kell will knock out Amir btw. I'm just saying it's better he didn't allow himself to lose on the business side of things to a man who's been bitter about Amir's success for a long time.

Kell came up the hard way and was limited in talent and self belief. I just think that he was so under the radar as an obscure quantity, that when he boxed Porter, Porter had no gameplan in mind. Spence jr had his strategy worked out. He knew Kell would come in drained and tired.

Btw, on Tyson Fury and the HW division. Were it not for Dazn's entry, espn would not have given Bob the money to sign Tyson Fury. They did it knowing dazn is also spending and it would put more pressure on al haymon. So Tyson got a big money contract off the back of Eddie's promotional work for dazn.
i wonder if these guys deep down know and have gratitude at all?
like Ruiz thanking al haymon and saying tings like 'dont forget you needed the exposure in the US too' eg he doesnt feel gratitude to aj for his paydays from matchroom. Yet, he thanks al haymon and likes to present himself as a pbc kid. Even though al haymon wasnt the one getting ruiz the aj fight.
whenever eddiemakes al haymon an offer, al haymon refuses unless it's an irrelevant boxer he doesnt regard highly.

I agree on most except what you said about ruiz and haymon.. Al already had Andy's respect and loyalty ever since Al helped him get away from bob.. Eddie and Al made a deal to set up the AJ fight in Brooklyn using big baby's fan base.. When big baby failed his test.. Haymon provided a substitute.. One that we all thought beat Parker in new Zealand.. So if AJ understimates Ruiz by any means Ruiz will win... An thats what happened. Ruiz was broke fighting for bob... Now he's rich an has many oppurtunits because of Al. So of course he a pbc kid. Lol

I don't know where you get your information from. Al had zero to do with the Miller vs AJ fight being set up. Miller was promoted by Salita promotions and was on a co-promotional deal with Eddie Hearn. He certainly isn't/wasn't managed/advised by al haymon.

As for Ruiz, yes Ruiz switched to pbc but he's only had 1 fight under pbc and that was vs Dimitrenko.
The story is that Ruiz begged Eddie for the AJ fight via instagram. Ruiz has spoken about it himself, like 'Eddie replied back and I was onto my wife like 'yo it's eddie, he has replied back to me''.
The point is, Ruiz wasn't told by al haymon to chase that fight, nor did al haymon pull strings to get him that fight. Nor did al haymon even offer Ruiz a shot at Wilder, a voluntary shot like that.
Ruiz's life changed because of Eddie Hearn. What if Eddie had said 'nah, why should I help out this ruiz kid when he's with al haymon?'.
He didn't because Eddie is more of an idealist who wants to work with every promoter.
Al haymon doesn't give voluntary shots at his belt holders to anyone outside his stable. The exception to that rule was Tyson Fury. We know Fury was promoted by frank warren. Al, finkle and warren decided to set up that fight to try and freeze out AJ and instead it failed, only doing 300k ppv buys.
