    Best Chins P4P (Current)

    1. Deontay Wilder
(Deontay has never been hurt badly in a fight, and that’s saying something since he’s weathered some heavy shots from boxing’s biggest men in his forty-some fights)

    2. Canelo Alvarez
(He took a screaming overhand air-missle from Golovkin in their first fight — you could even see his skull temporarily deform — and he just shook it off)

    3. Johann Duhaupas
(I may receive flak for this — but seriously, watch the ending of his fight with Deontay. Watch how Deontay doesn’t just land one right hand, or two, but he literally TEES OFF on Duhaupas’ face, and he doesn’t go down. Yeah, they waved off the fight, and his face was a MESS, but props to him he’s made of steel.)

    4. Shawn Porter
(Took a chilling left hook from Spence — the boogie man of his division — jumped back up and screamed “Let’s Go!”)

    5. Tyson Fury
(He fought Deontay Wilder — the hardest hitter in boxing — and took his best shot. In the words of the announcer, “he got up! Wow!”

    Agree or disagree?
    Please tell me!

Actually, yeah. I agree with all of that. Wilder is basically a Cruiserweight, Canelo has a hell of a jaw and Fury has recovery that I've never seen since JMM.

Check out Duhaupas vs Miller too. The chin is unreal.

I agree, but I still think Daniel Jacobs hit Canelo the hardest. He actually landed 2 or 3 massive bombs on Canelo consecutively.

Fine list, you'll get no argument from me.

Danny Garcia's got a pretty good chin, wouldn't rate him above any of those five, but, reckon he's showed good punch resistance.

I think Porter has 1 of the best chins for sure, even though he just got dropped in last fight - he's taken some insane leather from elite fighters. Canelo I agree with entirely too!

Wilder hasn't really fought anyone with great power to say he has a great chin, Ortiz is the only half puncher he has on his record and even he isn't a concussive puncher. He still wobbled him pretty badly though. I think Wilder probably has a good chin, but not a P4P chin

Fury?? He was dropped badly by a cruiserweight (steve cunningham), he's been dropped badly by a dude called Nevan Pajkic and was actually ko'd entirely by Wilder. Actually come to think of it, he was hurt against Klitchko after he finally landed 1 punch on him in the 12th. I'm not sure why he would even have been a consideration for this list, he's definitely chiny!

            Fury always recovers though.

I guess it's semantics but I think the guy means dudes who can take a punch by any means not necessarily how unphased they were or quick they are to recover exclusively.

Wilder's put a lot of dudes out like a light, even if Fury got a long count or whatever you mean by KO he still got up abnormally fast and abnormally unshaken by the shot, for Wilder anyway.

However you cut it, there's something there.

I agree if you catch him well he's not really that hard to put down though, maybe out is a bit disputable I reckon

Ahhh if we are talking powers of recovery, I think Fury has to be one of the most special fighters in recent memory. The dude just seems to wipe it off like it's water and carry on as if nothing happened. Really quite remarkable! However perhaps it is purely semantics, I think of punch resistance when I think of having a great chin, that's not to say that's all it is for everyone

Danny has an insane chin. He’s taken some of the biggest shots from Mattyhsse and Thurman and barely flinched. Never been dropped as a pro. Should def be up there in my opinion.

                  Pacquiao without a doubt.

Dude has taken shots from fighters much bigger than himself and many in their prime. **** he just took Prime Thurman’s best shots and it didn’t fade him. Dude has a phenomenal chin.
