What is the point of trying to diminish a boxing legend's status on a forum like this? Anyone who is remotely swayed by the bull**** being proposed here is a complete idiot. So much so, in fact, that we probably all already know the person to be a moron- and take their opinion accordingly. i just watched the fight (thanks kid achilles) and this is wat i saw.

1.moore lands a clean jab, marciano seems unfased.
2.marciano lands a nice uppercut, that snaps back moores head.
3.moore throws and off balance left straight, marciano looses balance and falls.
4.marciano gets up at the two count, but the ref makes a mistake and counts two extra seconds (to four) even though there was no standing eight count.
5.marciano if fine, and it seems clear that the 2 seconds had nothing to do with his ability to fight, as he never looked truly hurt.

And what he couldn't have backed away for two seconds or clinched for two seconds. It literally took 2 seconds for him to regain all of his faculties and be able to fight effectively so how hurt could he really have been?

I'm starting to question whether you actually watched the Clay-Cooper I fight or not. It only takes a couple of seconds to clear your head? You think they should make it a 2 second count instead of 10?
