This.I often don't even bother to score fights anymore, but when I do it's real time that matters, or your first viewing... any time after your immediate first viewing a process of rationalisation sets in and your brain starts creating a narrative - usually one that justifies what you want to see or believed you saw - this is why debriefings in the military or police are most valuable immediately after an event.

This shit, reviewing fights in slow mo and stuff is just good for educating yourself on the subtleties of the game, learning more about the fighters and helping you to know what you're looking at and for in future fights.

I’m the same - I literally never score fights.

Likely I want someone to win
      So there goes my impartiality.

Even if I’m neutral and one guy seems like he’s a few round down. I’ll really reach to give that guy rounds.

I did watch that Taylor/Prograis with no sound though. And you could see the momentum shift in the middle rounds after a classy Prograis start there and then clearly see Prograis take the last 2. But that may just have been a simple fight to score anyway.

I don’t get anything out of scoring fights though.
I used to when I was younger but now I just like enjoying it second by second

              100%

If you’re a fan of a fighter your card is moot. Doesn’t mean s.hit.

Same with any broadcasters cards too when they literally have a dog in the fight.

We all know what GGG looks like when he has good clean punches landed on him all night. Unfortunately, Derevy was never able to time his shots well and that's why GGG looked fine at the end. This definitely shows that. It also shows that GGG did have his timing down and clearly left Derevy battered. I feel a lot of people scored it as would have the late Howard Lederman, simply giving it rounds to whoever looked more aggressive.

It's not even a punch count video, and nothing edited. Simply the best fight moments in slow motion...

They're just worried they might see something going against their own "agenda".

He didn't nail anything. He probably didn't even watch the video. He's just talking crap as usual.

It's not about points or punch counts. It's simply an HD slo-mo compilation of the best moments of the fight.
