This seems a good small PPV to test Tank's PPV viability to me. LSC gots a lil bit of a name with mainstream fans. Tank is still growing with mainstream fans with how hes being moved.
Boxing fans too into competive fights with growing a PPV fighter. Sh^t who doesnt wanna see competitive fights, but if you look at PPV history a guy who has some mainstream following rarely enters the PPV side of the sport with a highly competitive super fight. Its usually a name guy hes fighting whos seen his best days at the most competitve range & it goes to lesser guys. I think LSC is still prime even if 135, assuming the fight happens there, isnt his ideal weight.
And primarily with lil guys you wanna build them up vs Hispanic fighters. That Hispanic fanbase is strong & support their fighters & usually can appreciate/respect the guys who beat "their guy" so its win win. This is why that Farmer PPV never made sense to me.
After Gamboa what? Fight Broners current gut? Another bag of potato chips..this dude has fans literally by association to Floyd hasn’t done jack shh but somehow is the next best thing in the sport.
LOL!!! Yeah Floyd seems to forget all the work he put in between 1996 and the end of 2007. He's trying to applying the game plan he had after beating Oscar (one the biggest if not the biggest payday in boxing at that time).
Even with social media, you can't fast track the market unless you can con DAZN or some other entity to secure some guaranteed money
Why do they keep matching up Tank with smaller dudes lately?
Isn't Leo the same guy who ducked Rigo at 122? Isn't Leo the same dude who ducked GRJ at 126? Why do they think Tank will get to feast on him at 135? LOL
