Canelo may do well for a few rounds, but Kovalev will mostly keep Canelo at the end of that jab, breaking him down. Canelo wont have the power to hurt Kovalev and will tire out somewhere in the later rounds at which point Kovalev will go for the kill and finish him. People giving Canelo way too much credit...I just dont are him (realistically) winning this.

3 years ago when Canelo was ducking GGG because he "wasn't a natural middleweight" I would say Kovalev was in his prime. He is well past it now. I'd say he's 50 percent of what he was before the 1st Ward fight. That and 30 days rest after his last fight. Not good.

Scam fight. Big overhand right lands Kovalev legs are wobbly and the fight is over. He is not the Krusher.

"they are hoping like hell kovalev is totally shot." No! You don't go into a fight on hope and prayer. You study your opponent and prepare and prepare and prepare. Since you know what people are hoping would you be so kind as to tell the secret to reading minds? I can put that ability to good use.

If Canelo fights Kovalev's fight, barring a cut or an accident, he has little to no chance to beat Kovalev. We should know within the first 3 rounds which fighter is going to be successful in fighting their fight. Though I believe Canelo is more likely to make adjustments than Kovalev, I see this as a tossup. We shall see.

I am disgusted,& tired of hearing the same few hating hypocrites on every nelo thread eternally.

I DO think Canelo can win this fight by ko BUT if he doesn't then Kovalev can win a UD,its basically a 55/45 fight imho in favor of Kovalev, no coincidence the same canelo hating queefs that have been on every thread about him his entire career claiming his killer opponents are cherry picks are the exact same ones now sayin ****** sht about this fight as if its not the very definition of the most dangerous fight Nelo could've taken after already beating the top 2 at mw

It's ironic how these same hypocrite s that have no answer when asked "who is doing remotely what Nelos doing in boxing?" are the same ones who hold nelo to god like standards to the pt where the #1 lhw champ & most powerful lhw champ is somehow a cherrypick.(Kov has proven his power even more than Beterbieve esp. til arturs last fight)

Its funny that these clowns will say "I told you it was a cherry" if Nelo wins, yet cannot explain who would be more dangerous that was a viable next fight or why. These lames will argue featherfisted mws/smws like Andrades/Zurdos etc. done nothing ass are more dangerous despite them having done nothing remotely near what kov has & can't even ko tiny mws/smw no hopers they tower over ffs let alone koing someone remotely near Yardes caliber, with a jab no less ffs

So its a scam fight to you yet you are here early in the morning a week before to tell us,& you will be watching hoping nelos kod but ready to say I told you so if Nelo wins.

What fight is not a scam fight to you for nelo next?& Why? Oh right whoever nelo fights is meaningless to haters.

Kovalev can win on points in Vegas just as he did against Ward in first fight.... Meaning thr judges wont let that happen. Boxers will know however.

This is a minor point, but it would be helpful if the headline writers actually read the article. Reynoso did not say they will capitalize on Kovalev's mistakes in the fight. He said they HOPE to capitalize. There is a difference or does nobody give a damn these days. Shoddy work on the part of these folks.
