Comments Thread For: Canelo Trainer: We'll Capitalize on Kovalev's Mistakes in The Fight!

Eddy Reynoso, head trainer of Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez (51-1-2, 34 KOs), is confident his boxer made the right choice is going after the WBO light heavyweight championship. One question how is canelos stamina gonna hold up over 12 rounds at a higher weight? He was blowing out his arse in the ggg/jacobs fights by midway. But strangely at 164 against chavez he stood in his corner between rounds didn't sit once? Is canelo naturally heavier and the drain to 160 saps his stamina?

Kovalev needs to keep him at a distance with that jab.

The process of cutting a lot of weight can definitely have a negative impact on a fighters cardio.

I got you so would it be fair to say canelo isn't a natural middleweight?

If I'm Kov, I'm not shying away from a newbie.
I'm enforcing my will (intelligently) and making Nelo fight my fight.
