Shakur is the closest thing to Sweat Pea I've seen

Just moves out of range so effortlessly. He was trapped in the corner and made Joet miss without moving... Crazy lol

He has not even fully developed yet. Just wait until the day he decides he can get away with more and becomes more offensive and believes in his punches. It might be a couple years away but he is only going to get better.

Lets hope he does. If he wants to become a star he will have too. Defensively he is something great but he needs to put his offense together a little more.

Sweet Pea was much more versatile offensively and stayed in the pocket more. I'd like to see Stevenson move a little less and hold his ground more. He lets some good counter opportunities slip away by being too out of range himself.

But the man is impressive no doubt.

I like how he quoted Floyd haha. "He's a hell of a fighter" said Stevenson of Gonzalez after the fight.

I don't think we've see the full repotoir from Shakur Stevenson not even close

Other young fighters do a lot of talking (Haney, Lopez, Garcia...) but Shakur Stevenson is levels about and is the leader of the pack when it comes to that next generation which is why he qualified for the Olympics and Medal while others didn't

I think Shakur would look more impressive vs a come forward pressure fighter who let his hands go because he would be able to get off more counters

I don't know WTF Joet was doing at times, kinda just standing in front of him and using Faints I guess you can call them

Not Sweet Pea but he is very Skilled with a very high in front IQ and Cat Reflexes

Let's see him fight a live body first and see how he does.
