if some fighters get an advantage by " weight-bullying "...

that advantage is not as significant, as the advantage enjoyed by naturally larger fighters who competed against naturally smaller fighters back when there were only 8 divisions... right?

a few pounds of REAL weight > a few pounds of rehydration-weight

    right... ?

respect for the old guys !!

and they fought under those conditions for 15 HARD rounds

EVERYTHING was a lot harder back then... including life-in-general

not sure, but it is very easy to dismiss their 2nd weigh-in because they are the only sanctioning body who require it... and it is also easy for the fighters to dismiss it, if they do not value the IBF belt

maybe all of the organisations should manage the rehydration aspect

not sure why the available medical information contained enough justification for the IBF to insist that a 2nd weigh-in is required... but did not contain enough justification for the WBC/WBA/WBO to come to the same conclusion

to solve this issue, we will all need to pretend to be medical experts

        tough one, not sure
A universal governing body would make it a lot easier to enact any significant change...but like someone else mentioned, boxing is a business masquerading as a sport. Also, cracking down on ped use would have to play a major role, because a good portion of illegal substance use in the sport is tied to weight cutting.

biggest myth ever. triple flop could've dropped to fight canelo at 155 if he wanted to.. remember "anyone from 154 - 168"?? hes the one who delayed the fight. now he'll duck rematches with jacobs and derevy.
