Good point about Booth. The fighters you mention had their limbs going everywhere at one moment or another.
Tbf mate I’ve never watched it back but based upon what I seen in the arena I felt like Burnett was out boxing him. That might not be 100% accurate though.

And yeah I was informed by a good source that Booth and Haye’s split was based upon the fact Haye blames Booth’s regime for a lot of the injuries he has suffered. From that point I was always su****ious of Booth’s training techniques. Groves and Burnett only back up those su****ions.

Just a shame he’ll never get to fulfil his potential, he was essentially 1/2 fights away from legacy defining fights against Inoue, Tete etc.

I think something must be said about Adam Booth’s regime, that’s Haye, Groves and now Burnett who’ve have suffered serious shoulder/back injuries. I think Booth’s a really good trainer but he’s renowned for strange and physically demanding training techniques and they seem to correlate with shortened careers.
He very well could have beat Donaire, matter a fact I picked him to. I did not see anything in their shortened fight though to suggest a win for either. Yea it is a shame he will never get a chance to see how far he could have went, but did very well with the time he had. Good point about Booth, and I never thought about it before. Maybe he does have to change a few things, but I honestly cant comment on that now. One thing that popped into my head though while reading that part was Loma and his unorthodox training. Among other things I have seen him do that walking on his knuckles thing which is hard on your shoulders, and he ended up hurting his shoulder. Maybe nothing to it, but made me think about it.
