Or is there some other reason of a different nature altogrther - socio-economic pressures perhaps..? Genuinely curious... You reckon there's any chance for the untermenschen to catch up..?

sounds liek you're just trying to waste my time, but i'll bite.

let's ecxhange the term "talent" for genetic supeiority.

are american athletes more talented HW boxers? of course. talents are what you cannot teach. you bring them with you to the sport, you get them from your mom and your dad. i can teach you how to throw your left hook, get better leverage based on how you're built, and maximize what you've got. i cannot make you six inches taller, and i probably can't make you hit like a HW.

    will you "catch up?"

where are you from? if you're from the philipines, i doubt it. you'll do well in thew eight classes, but no country where the men average 160 CM will see a dominant reign at HW.

are you british? you have some talented big men, but do you have as many as we do? take a long hard look at your sports at home and hwere your athletes have been exported. are you really as talented as the country who has 250 lb, two meter dudes playing for scolarships who don't even make it pro?

    where's your NBA?
    wheres your NFL?

    where is this?

click this link and look at all that red white and blue. explain that.

    TLDR
yes, we're genetically superior at HW boxing, just look at the output. big, fast, strong men make better HW. who would have thought ?

No man... I'm for real. Pisses me off when people start making comments like 'our people are the best' like there's some differentiation between people at a genetic level. That kinda thinking led to the damn ****'s man.

You show me a list of professional heavyweight boxing champions spanning a period when there was no professional boxing across half the damn world as evidence? How is that a fair comparison? How about the ammys which was truly international - you claim Americans dominated that too yet I been watching since the 80s and that ain't how I recall it - certainly not consistently. Maybe we should look at the historical record?

So. Yeah. That. People are just people the world over, man. Give 'em the same diet over a coupla generations and the same training you're gonna get the same kinda results. If you're gonna be proud of anything be proud of the fact that your nation was managing to give most of it's population a decent diet whilst the rest of the world was tearing itself to pieces, and enough surplus wealth to throw so much at sports that it became the brightest option for big dudes, but if you come here with what sounds like a claim that any human beings are intrinsically superior to others I'll get in your face about it.

wilders money and popularity(which is very good btw) is a reflection in the lack of interest in boxing in the US...that is all...plain and simple

and wilder is doing pretty well.....between fury fight and ortiz 2 fight hes bout to make about 30 mil in a year and a half.....how many US boxers that are active have made that in a career?

The real question is, why is it so hard for Wilder fans to admit that their boy hasn't beaten anyone good in his entire career aside from a guy that was 3 years off the couch and a heart patient???? If Wilder fought good opponents, then he would be making a killing right now instead of being a co=feature in a PPV that won't sell hahahah. He could have grown a pair and fought AJ in Wembley for 20 times what he will make next month...plus a chance to fight for all the belts. But Wilder ducks every challenge and runs. That's the real reason he makes no money and why he is laughed at. And still, I'm waiting on a good reason to duck 120 million and unification...................

britons don't care about football or any sort any more becuase they f#cking suck at it and don't have good athletes.

you wouldn't even think our best athletes are real. literally there are hudnreds if not thousands, of anothony joshuas playing football and basketball in college.

6'6", 250 lb guys who can box on their toes. joshua would look completely ordinary in a locker room full of college kids in alabama. i don't care if you don't believe me, you don't watch american football. i watch boxing and i've seen the eras where the best american athletes didn't play team sports and boxed instead . brits, russians, even cubans literally had no f#cking shot. amateur or pro. american HW have histprically been the most dominant cohort in boxing. that's bcause we have the best large athletes in the world and nobody comes f#cking close! not even close!

louis, ali, tyson, foreman, marciano, holyfield, holmes, norton, frazier, dempsey, liston, johnson, do you see a pattern here? they're all from america. there is one truly great HW who is not from the united states, lennox lewis, and one borderline great, wladimir klitschko, and the latter boxed in a **** era.
They just went to a world cup semi final haha - they have had a down period the past 20 years or so but even then went to plenty of quarters/last 16's so dont know wtf you are talking about. They also won the under 17 world cup...they have what look like 3 generational talents from that age group to add to what is already a very solid team...do not talk of what you do not know.

As far as the other stuff, I agree that Americans have historically had the best fighters and athletically gifted fighters...everyone tries to blame the current dearth on other sports...but the marquee US fighters have always been the highest paid athletes, even when they were getting ripped off by promoters...you can go back to Ali, to SRL, Tyson, Holyfield, were all the highest paid athletes of their time...mayweather...so I do think this line about kids going to other sports is overplayed...plus each sport is a different kind of athleticism...what I'm trying to say is that I think the problem is deeper than that, and Lebron James wouldnt have necessarily made a great fighter, there is no way of knowing. Whether it's a lack of gyms, coaches, teaching...the US is on a downward trend in boxing pro and amateur, and if anyone in power cares they should look into it, that's what they did in this country with football (soccer)

Another thing to consider is that there haven't been as many black (afro or Caribbean) people in the UK for example, as long as in the US, many are still 1st or 2nd generation and as someone already pointed out the Russians, Cubans were communist for a long time and weren't producing pro fighters. I dont think it's as clear as what you think...or fair to compare, especially when you start factoring in population etc

The one thing I'll agree is that American football players are the best athletes...I think Barry Sanders is the most impressive eye catching sportsman I've seen.
