How can PBC fans say they hate Loma, etc, for being "protected" but support Tank,etc?

There are some PBC fans saying Loma is a protected hypejob because he fought for a title against Salido and the ref in his 2nd pro fight, and against Gary Russell Jr and the judges in his 3rd pro fight. Some also say Beterbiev is protected because he fought Koelling for his title after Ward retired before fighting him (his mandatory) and Marcus Browne ducked him and Al or Yvon Michel protected Stevenson from him. This is the reason some PBC fans give to justify hating on Loma, Beterbiev, and you can probably guess what other fighters. I guess their title fight opponents just aren't on the caliber of Miguel Flores, 38 year old Gamboa, and so on.

My question is, if Loma, Beterbiev, etc, are protected, and if that's a fair reason not to support them, then how can PBC fans still support fighters who are protected from the so called "protected?" Tank is protected from Loma, so how can you still support Tank? Isn't being protected from someone who is himself supposedly protected even worse? Browne and Jack were protected from Bivol. Browne and Stevenson were protected from Beterbiev. Yet PBC fans still supported, and support, some of them.

Can any PBC fans reading please explain. I just want to see all boxers get fair opportunities and fair treatment.

But as far as the PBC and its fans are concerned, it always seems like the same pattern. Some non-PBC fighters are willing to fight better opposition, so they rise faster in certain sanctioning body rankings and earn title shots vs the top PBC fighters by rule. The top PBC fighters duck them, so they're forced to fight someone less good for the title instead, but then PBC fighters and fans use that to say they are hypejobs and have never fought anyone, when really, even in the cases where that's true, it's only because PBC fighters avoided them in the first place.

How can you discredit someone who is ducked, but not the fighters that duck them? If they're hypejobs, why not fight them and beat them?

On the outside looking in, I say the Gary Russell Jr. loss really got under the skin of black boxing fans especially the PBC fanclub, and theyve been looking for a black fighter to avenge it. Loma could beat Tank, then Haney, then theyll just look for another black fighter to beat him. Its a cyclical thing though with most races on here not just blacks. They just seem to get under the skin of Pro Eastern Euro/Russian white fans most.
