FFS, the WBC is getting as bad as the WBA with making up new belts just to rake in ever more sanctioning fees. The greed of Mendoza and Sulaiman is getting beyond a joke, but fighters and promoters won't argue as it gives more opportunities to say "I am" or "I represent" a world champ.

There has to be a significant push on social media. Stay viligent. Every time WBA or WBC comes up, you have to respond to as many people as possible, "thats not a real belt, we no longer recognize those sanctioning bodies."

The people who decide what gets credibility and what doesnt are the media. Doug Fischer, Mike Coppinger, Steve Kim, Kevin Iole, Keith Idec, Dan Rafael, and so on. You have to tweet them and push them and when they push back on behalf of the corrupt status quo, put them on public blast for it and question their motives or credibility.

Thats the only way to push back against the corruption and the gatekeepers who defend it and give it credibility. Not saying all of those people will but whoever does, the only way to stop it is to try to call the credibility of those gatekeepers into question on the issue. Only once their credibility to give credibility to the sanctioning bodies is doubted by fans will the sanctioning bodies lose credibility.

In other words the sanctioning bodies cant just be exposed in one step, the people defending the status quo and giving it legitimacy need to be exposed first, not as people or in general or anything, but specific to that issue. They all seem like decent people, I have nothing against them, and maybe they will all do the right thing and say this is not acceptable, but if any of them go along with you, you have to wonder why, and you have to push back because as long as they go along with it, their reach is so much longer than most fans that it will be given legitimacy whether fans like it or not.

The WBC just making new stuff up as they go along. Here's a novel idea, how about the champion actually fight the deserved mandatory? That means Loma vs Haney and Canelo vs Charlo. Lmao at all the hypocrite loma nuthuggers/nelo haters exposing their hypocrisy (especially boxing writers who were claiming to be outraged by nelo being franchise champ but now aren't saying anything against loma,even though when canelo was given that status it was because he had actually beaten the top 2 elite fighters at mw & he was trying to become champ at 3 divisions concurrently while also having already signed a 35 mil per fight deal that made titles meaningless,so there was some supposed reasoning behind it(even if it was still complete bs reasoning) but with loma,none of those things apply & he actually plans on moving down in weight rather than facing Haney & he had just been given a vacant wbc belt despite being a rival orgs champ, again that differs from nelo who is lineal wbc champ.
