I think with some adjustments AJ can win. Other than the knockdowns he had some success. If he doesn't learn what to do when Ruiz gets close he will be doomed again.

I predict this is going a fight Ala Wlad or John Ruiz. Hold and hit. A very boring affair.

Andy “seems unfocused”? What gives you that impression? The pictures I saw of him earlier this week, depict a man completely intent on proving to the world that he’s not a fluke, as evidenced by a slimmer physique. Lack of focus doesn’t produce such physical results.

Is Joshua disciplined enough and have high enough boxing IQ to stick to a 1 -2 and hold him whenever he moves in? If that is indeed their gameplan, did you forget Ruiz has some say in it too? AJ could not keep distance the 1st 3 rounds, and of course the final 4. IDK if he can handle trying to win via boring decision. Referee will play a huge role as well, like the clown from AJ Vs Parker..... Ruiz wouldn't stand a chance with him

I am betting on Ruiz and hope it's a fair fight with no weird stuff from the ref and judges.

Did AJ have a good physique when he was unfocused? I get the impression from how much his life style has changed in such a short amount of time. A slimmer body doesn't mean hes focused. A lower weight might not even be good for fight night, power/chin might drop a little bit only time will tell

He could knock Ruiz out in a couple of rounds and the odds for him vs. Fury or Wilder are still going to be damn near even, I think.
