As shown once again on Friday night, Artur Beterbiev's stiffest competition continues to come in the form of opposing broadcasts. The unbeaten light heavyweight extended his perfect knockout-to-win run on Friday, the latest effort coming at the highest level as he claimed the World (lineal) light heavyweight championship with a 10th round stoppage of Oleksandr Gvozdyk (17-1, 14KOs). The battle of unbeaten light heavyweight title claimants headlined a live ESPN telecast, which drew an average of 635,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research.

This article is a hit piece. I see right through it. Nevertheless, there are grammatical errors once again as this site continues to deteriorate.

All that flip flopping of channels certainly didn’t help at all
Plus , it seems as always to boxing this happens
Never goes on like it’s supposed to or they never bump the game to one of their sister networks

100% correct. ESPN must not care about the numbers as much as we may think. Otherwise they would have put some pressure on Arum by now. Not to mention idk what they would be showing that would do better numbers if they were to get rid of boxing.

B-b-but why isn't Canelo fighting the other LHW's in the division?

Because they are unknown with zero fan base as these numbers confirm. Canelo ducks no one. Canelo will beat these numbers easily while fighting on a mostly unknown app. Bow down to the cash cow.
