It's true, AJ is not a great inside fighter and doesnt have the physicality of an Ali or Foreman or Holyfield etc but AJ is A LOT better now than he was against Parker, plus his plan this time seems to be to prep for a 12 rounder.

The ref nonsense is just insecure bs on your part.

Insecure how?? How do your eyes interpret what you see when the referee is clearly breaking the fighters for no reason? I'm just saying what I see.

Also, what fight have you seen since the Parker fight that convinces you that Joshua has plugged up this obvious hole in his game. Surely you are not suggesting that Joshua was displaying new found tying up skills in his last fight, or are you????

Usually Joshua is able to knock his opponent ****** with that same right hand that had little effect of Ruiz. Tying up doesn't come up in the conversation when that happens.

yOU ARE INSECURE BECAUSE YOU BROUGHT UP A SUPPOSED EFFECT OF THE REFREE even though the referee in the first Ruiz fight actually disadvantaged AJ. I will move on from it because I want to discuss boxing, not ****** American conspiracies.

What is the obvious hoe in AJ's game?

I mentioned AJ might not be good enough or strong enough on the inside, which is why I said he needs to be able to hold his opponent. But he is also a better fighter in terms of his best qualities (right hand, jab, uppercut). Will that be enough to beat Ruiz? I don't know but to think he hasn't improved fight by fight, bcoming the best heavyweight in less than 10 years of experience proves you otherwise.

Once you get destroyed in the rematch - you’ll go back to fighting in front of 50 people. Then Fury is next, so his eye can get smashed in this time for scamming idiots.
You know what's funny? When he was trying to box Andy he was getting outboxed and backed up. That's why he tried stepping into Andy and putting the pressure on. We all saw what happened at that point.

Right, though I disagree that the referee did anything to favor Ruiz he certainly didn't do anything to favor Joshua AND Joshua took an asz kicking. (unlike Joshua/Parker)

The hole in Joshua's game is that he cannot sustain an attack or even survive one without exhausting himself, he isn't like Ruiz who is comfortable in the ring. I don't know that Ruiz even has better stamina but he's a lot more efficient because he's relaxed in the ring.

Joshua has a lot going for himself but it's hard to overlook the obvious. If he can't learn to tie up and he couldn't last time out, he's going to have issues again if Ruiz can get inside and if he doesn't get bailed out by the ref (see below).

Does AJ actually want to be heavyweight champion? Does he feel like he deserves it? A lot of past champions found they didn't want it. Liston, Spinks, Douglas, Tyson, Bowe - all those guys felt the burden wasn't worth it and they laid down.

If AJ wants it, Parker has already showed him what he needs to do to win. Jab & move. Land a couple of punches on Ruiz's way in, then tie up. Don't get in exchanges. Ruiz has fast hands and slow feet - the good 'ol Larry Holmes formula will beat him. If AJ can't do that for 12 rounds, then he can't be champion - he'll gas against anyone he can't knock out.

If Ruiz wins, then in his next next fight we get to find out if he wants to be champion.
