Lol I wouldn't either if I'm ko'ing or stopping everyone put in front of me. But as fans we need to call this obvious bias from the ref and judges out.

Some of those knockdowns were clearly knockdowns, if nothing else the ref is endangering the person getting knocked down

... the "first KD" was rightfully ruled out, though...
But from then on, the ref "understood" that he has to somehow protect Gvozdyk...

Lol yeah, goes to show just how much of a beast Beterbiev is, not just physically but mentally, he wasnt concerned at all by the refs actions

              I like your tone..../s

The thing is, I'm a fan of both and not a fanboy of either, I love Beterbiev because he's a strong ****** man and I love Gvozdyk because he's a strong Christian man, both Europeans who believe in the one God, both humble men who are world class and put on a great fight.

To answer your question: Gvozdyk hasn't dropped off like this before becuase of two main reasons: Firstly, stylistically he needed a higher output to keep Beterbiev off of him and to deter him (more pressure and more power exerted) and secondly because Beterbiev is a brutal puncher and hit Gvozdyk to the body.

I find it hard to have a positive opinion about any one fighter on this site, because if you are positive of one fighter then fanboys of either side will accuse you of being negative towards 'their' fighter. Giving props to one fighter does not mean denigrating the other.

Beterbiev and Gvozdyk both are awesome and the better man won, but Gvozdyk put a hell of a show on for us - Beterbiev was just too strong though and could weather the storm Gvozdyk brought to him. Some of the same people praising Beterbiev now will be the same people I will argue with in the future when they start slagging off Islam and ****** people, same with fans of Gvozdyk who might one day decide to start mocking Christianity or Ukrainians.

Into this fight I didn't care who won - I love both. My two favourite at LHW for years

I only watch boxing... and here all should be about boxing and fighters...

... we shouldn't care about religions, ethnicity, continents, races, a.s.o.

More the fact that he was walking through Gvozdyk's combos like they were nothing. People think that because he's from the Ukrainian school that he hits average like Usyk. Nail is one of the top 5 punchers in LHW (IMO) and Beterbiev took his shots like they were nothing.

No not really I agree, I was just showing that I don't have a bone to pick in this fight between the two guys that just fought and my original opinion isn't based on me being a fanboy of one or the other. I can speak positive things about anyone from any continent
