Sure Canelo will probably beat old washed up Kovalev who is ready to be beaten by a good fighter. Beterbiev is a completely different story. 100 percent KOs. Canelo would not dare fight Beterbiev and I am certain of that. GGG should leave Beterbiev alone too. Beterbiev is probably the best at 175 and no middleweight is going to beat him or even go the full distance with him in my opinion. GGG getting beat by Beterbiev to one up Canelo is a bad idea. GGG should rematch Dervy if Canelo keeps refusing to fight him.
Beterbiev's 34, man. Just a damn shame he went pro late and got mired in promotional bullchit, cos his prime's probably behind him. But yeah, he's a hell of a lot closer to prime than GGG and significantly bigger and stronger, not to mention far from lacking in the skills department himself. Can't see any outcome other than GGG getting steamrolled at this point and even prime GGG would have had to get on his bike to even survive I think.

I'd rather call for Loma to challenge Usyk, tbh...

Nobody is going to pick GGG over Berterbiev, but this move would be very similar to how Kell Brook challenged GGG after Khan got Canelo fight.

Personally, I think good matchmaking at a higher weight could make GGG look like a murderer again, but I don't know about lightheavyweight.

Canelo like everyone else on DaZn gets a fixed fee they negotiate in their contracts..stop pretending like this is pbc showtime where they get any upside.. the money is set already whether it’s profitable or not for DAZN. So ain’t nobody giving anyone else on dazn any paydays if they are under contract..Canelo could fight you and make the same amount if they approve it.
