Obviously Floydie knows he's blowing at least a little smoke. Loma for one would embarrass Davis... either by UD or outright stoppage. Davis is talented, but his resume isn't all that great. Even Gamboa will give him some serious problems... although I think Davis wins that one. IMO if Davis strictly fights elites... he'll have an L within the next 3 fights. The competition at LW is simply too strong currently.

Gervonte Davis isn't that good to me.

I think he's also limited by his small stature.

For him, they should have made him start out much lower in weight than he did. So they can build him up into the 135 and possibly finishing at 140 with the best fight available.

Instead he started out at 130. How much more can he actually move up? He's about as tall as Rigondeux but even heavier than the former S.Bantamweight.

They'll have to build him up carefully to be the 'new' Aaron Pryor or something because I truly think he's out of the picture the moment he steps in the ring with someone like Lomachenko. Possibly even Teofimo (although I don't think too much of him).

I like Tank and would give him a decent shot against Loma, especially depending on weight class...but when you/your promoter say you're the best, and you apparently don't want to get in there with the consensus number 1 in your division, you will catch heat for it.
