I thought it was a close fight with a lot of close rounds going into the 10th. I personally had it 5-4 Gvozdyk. Beterbiev made the cards irrelevant with an emphatic stoppage. Good for him.

All the judges gave the 9th to Beterviev, but by that same token all 3 gave Beterbiev the first round, even though I thought it was a crystal clear round for Gvozdyk.

Yeah I read that 9th round dyslexic...LOL. It was close but I don't agree with the scorecards. The punch stats tell a whole different story and Beterview's punches were much more damaging. I'm not taking anything away from Gvozdyk...he's really great but I could see by the 4-5th round that he'd get worn down and KO'd and posted as much in the thread.

Absolutely, my brother called me mid way through the fight and said this Beterbiev guy looks like he is going to eventually knockout Gvozdyk, and I said yeah you might be right, but as it stands Gvozdyk is winning the fight on points, and if it stands I think he could cruise to a decision, needless to say he ended up cruising to a crushing KO.

You can score 10-8 without a knockdown if you think the other guy was totally dominating, which to be fair I think Beterbiev was doing in the 9th.
