Comments Thread For: Beterbiev: I'm Very Simple, Like To Live My Life Separate From Boxing

Beyond the ropes, Artur Beterbiev prefers to disconnect from the sport-and at time, reality-as often as possible. "I'm the wrong person to ask about another fighter," the unbeaten knockout artist and reigning light heavyweight titlist confessed to BoxingScene.com. "When I'm training, I don't pay attention to anything else. When my fight is done, I only pay attention to what's important to my family."

With a look like that coming from their dad, it will be easy for Beterbiev's kids to be nice and obedient.

All he has to do is stare very intently at his kids to instill discipline.

Such refreshing levels of class from both fighters. May the best man win, and the runner-up bounce back in the mix. We need more no-nonsense grafters like this being showcased in boxing – the Wilders and Furys bore the shit of out me after a few earfuls.
