Golden Boy: "We Have Three For Margarito"

LOS ANGELES – In recent weeks, there has been a hearty dose of bluster from the camp of WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito, claiming that he is the ‘most feared fighter in boxing’, and that no one is willing to fight him. [details]

Id love to see ouma at 147, it looks like things are starting to backfire on margarito now, he needs to show the world that he means business and take on a meaningful opponent

Great move, but what else do you expect from Oscar?

I love how the tables have turned on Margarito. Now Margarito looks like the *****.

Just as Margarito fans lost respect for Mayweather when he ducked Antonino....I now require Margarito to take a good fight like one of those. Fight a Winky or an Ouma. ****, anyone ranked or worth something. Then we see what you have to offer- those of us who just aren't impressed yet.

I don't think that Margarito can be accused of dodging someone if they are not in the same weight class as him. All three of those fighters that Golden Boy Promotions named are at 154 pounds.

Bingo to Southpaw. Do we accuse Foyd of ducking Oscar or Shane or Karmazin? No.

But anywho, let's examine this before we blindly agree with Oscar. 1st of all, Arum already offered Wright a fight and Wright is ON RECORD saying NO to the fight at 154 lbs. Did he all of a sudden change his mind? We need to hear Wright speak on this.

Ouma already has a fight scheduled. I'd love to see Ouma-Marg AFTER Ouma pounds Powell, but it cannot be scheduled right NOW because as Oscar fully knows, Ouma is already fighting Powell.

As for Smith...that's just a joke. Smith is good but beating him does nothing at all for Antonio.

I don't think he should fight Winky, who is too big and crafty at this point. Winky is a much tougher fight than Floyd would be.
