    Overrated Boxers

    Who’s been overrated ?

And no, Mayweather and Pacquiao are not overrated so don’t go into that BS. They’re the two most dominant record breaking boxers of the past 15-20 years.

I’d say Spence and Crawford are quite overrated.
Spence just went life and death with Porter, and nobody talks about Porter as they do on this forum about Spence. Matter of fact Porter lost to Thurman but arguably beat Spence, so in boxing math Thurman could probably beat Spence. And Manny beat Thurman so he’s greater than both.
    And Crawford has no resume.

I’m big fan of Canelo and he’s quite good, but still lacks a stellar resume for an “elite” boxer. Jacobs and GGG 2 were good wins though.

I think Wilder is overrated. Waiting for him to slip and get his big mouth shut.

Spence and Crawford would both be betting favorites to beat Pac who you love, Canelo deserved to loses both fights to GGG. The only reason he didn't is because the fights were in very Canelo friendly Vegas where Oscar has paid for judges. This can't be proven but it's obvious by the very generous scoring Canelo receives in all close fights he has had in Vegas. If the Canelo vs GGG fights happen in any neutral city GGG wins them both.

Spence and I'm not just saying it because he's been acting like a moron recently. Also, GGG.

Since when does going 24 rounds with what folks consider the best fighter in the sport and arguably beating him once and having a razor thin loss the second time make you overrated? If he is overrated doesn’t that make Canelo the same? I don’t quite understand these claims honestly. Calling either man nothing short of elite is an insult to both. I like both fighters, really don’t fan for Canelo anymore since the test failure (as I’ve done with anyone else in the sport who has failed one) but to not call him or Golovkin elite is just hate. And yes I still think Golovkin lost to Derevyanchenko.

Roman Gonzalez. Said it before he lost, said it after he lost, said it after he lost again, and saying it now. He was never p4p top 20, yet a lot of people had him p4p 1, that was insane. Not saying he isn't a very good fighter, he is, but I've never known a 30-50 p4p being regarded as the #1 before.

Andrade's a good fighter but still has a lot to prove at MW.
Boo Boo's been down vs Matriosan, down vs Fox, SD win vs Culcay.
Maybe it's not his fault but he's yet to beat a top guy at MW. (Sulecki's only 2-2 at MW and he barely got by Rosado.)
Hopefully we'll get to see Andrade vs a top guy before he retires.

Everyone is overrated in this era because 2007 onward is the era where the best don’t fight each other.

Everyone is also underrated because fans of certain boxers hold the fact that we’re in this era against select boxers instead of holding it against everyone.

Spence and Crawfordmay be favored but PAC is also 40 years old so that doesn’t say much. Prime PAC DADASHEVS Spence.

Spence hasn’t shown anything remotely fantastic skills wise and Crawford has skills but yet to be actually tested.
