    Comments Thread For: Usyk Will Be in Saudi Arabia, Scouting Ruiz vs. Joshua Rematch

    According to Eddie Hearn, the co-promoter for Oleksandr Usyk, the undefeated heavyweight contender will be in Saudi Arabia on December 7th, to watch the rematch between Andy Ruiz and Anthony Joshua. Back in June, Ruiz dropped Joshua four times and stopped him in the seventh round.

          Being not good enough and being not big enough are two very different things. You need to be blind to think he is not good enough. There is no one in the division, except for Fury to some extent, who would be on Usyk's level in terms of talent. The only question is if he has the power and the punch resistance to be taken seriously in the division.

          You have a problem with him earning money? What a loser

              ... I see this as a desperate move from Hearn...

              ... in case Ruiz wins the rematch, I can see that he may vacate the WBO belt and fight Wilder with the WBA, IBF, and WBC belts on the line...

              ... So: Hearn will only get hold on the WBO belt for a future AJ vs Usyk fight...

                              This will be Usyk's decision, not Hearn's. He has a mandatory right to fight for the WBO title. Eddie will have to make the fight when Usyk wants it, he has no choice in the matter.

                                  And if AJ wins the rematch Hearn will advise him also to drop WBO and fight Pulev, in any ways Usyk will fight for that belt next
