As with BJS it would've been great to see him with a real test but this youtube card is weak. The Japanese guy Lopez struggled with would've been ideal. I don't see Haney or BJS getting big fights soon with this type of opposition, but Haney has time on his side, not just because he's young but because Loma is unavailable until this time next year, Haney will hopefully headline a card vs a legit threat (Campbell?) in March/April time.

The only time people were saying l0m0 was ducking was with Rigo. bob arum will do his best to keep l0m0 away & safe from Devin Haney like he did with Rigo for years until he had ALL the advantages for l0m0. Petrovs getting on a bit now but he's solid - very respectable step up / gatekeeper fight for a young prospect. If Devin's anything like as good as he's appeared to be to date then I'd expect him to take it, but Petrov should make a decent showing.


The only guys who beat Petrov in the last decade were titleholders or future titleholders if that gives you an idea of his level.
