Serious question: what is Terence Crawford's signature win?

    https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/447121
    What is Crawford's signature/best win?

Not trying to hate on Crawford at all, but I can't figure out which wins people use to justify him being P4P #1.

I'm not saying he's not P4P material...but I don't think we know for sure yet, because we have yet to see him perform against elite-level competition...or have we?

Which elite-level fighter has Crawford beaten?

I’m in agreement with you. Obviously he’s great but how great is unknown. Hasn’t faced any B level fighters and up

Things have changed since the accident but my impression is that he wanted to fight Spence a lot more than Spence wanted to fight him. Does anyone think he's avoiding anyone? I mean he's been a welter for only about a year and a half.

Yuriorkis Gamboa is his best win to date- when you put the status of both fighters into context around that fight

As a Crawford fan none of them are.

What stands out is that all his wins are decisive. Whether he ended up winning by tko or dominating the rounds. No one has come close aside from a good shot here or there.

Right. Which suggests that his opponents haven't been world class.

His win of Gamboa at 135 is his best win at the time both were unbeaten and 2 best at lightweightand it was seen as a fairly 50/50 fight. Postol win is a very close second thoe.

Obviously the man is p4p and is an excellent fighter but p4p #1? is very debatable. I think many people would say Gamboa is his best win but when I checked last night in Boxrec, Crawford is listed as 5'8 tall and Gamboa 5'5 1/2.

For me a p4p #1 man is the man that has been involved in a series of fights as underdog, a series of 50/50 fights where the other man is considered as good as him and he has come on top more often than not. A man that has digged down and needed to use his skills and will to overcome adversity.

When you read this line, you easily think of Juan Manuel Marquez, Pacquiao and that kind of breed.

His resume is weak for a guy with so much talent. Arum should have paid Manny his 20 mill to make the fight
