FACT: if Kovalev was cashing out, he would not have risked fighting Yarde
they would have simply taken that Canelo money
not sure why you NEEEEED to insist that Kovalev is cashing out, from one side of your face... but then admit that Kovalev would be a fool not to take that GREAT opportunity, and is still a very good opponent... from the other side of your face
why can't you g-strings just be happy... ?
oh, right... I forgot lol
Do you think it’s possible he decided after almost getting ko’d by a green nobody who doesn’t even spar, that maybe it’s time to go for that retirement package? I mean, they went straight back to canelo’s people and took the fight on short notice in a place where they didn’t want it for extra money. These things coupled with the fact that he’s 36 and clearly on the slide, gives this situation the optics of a cash out, no matter how much it upsets you.

no, I think he took a great opportunity when it presented itself
Kovalev did not roll over for Canelo, and he did not ignore his divisional obligations... they got offered the money they wanted, but it came too late... because they were too far along with the Yarde negotiation and too close to the deadline...
they did the right thing by Yarde, and then they took the Canelo opportunity
no idea why you neeeeed to insist that Kovalev is cashing out... ???
criticizing that fight will not improve Golovkin's resume

Why you still flip flopping over this
You picked Kovi to win then did a 180 when I said we could gamble on it
Now your talking highly of Canelo
Maybe you should start taking your medication and not the one for the female organs but the one for memory loss ( convenient memory loss )

They had to know that Kovalev had to pay Yarde to step aside and meet other fianancial liabilities if the Yarde fight was cancelled. They got the short notice they wanted. Kovalev got the money he wanted that's why he agreed to take it ASAP.
Then when I told him to gamble on it ( I would take cinnamon bun ) he refused and *****ed out
