Comments Thread For: Saunders: My Win is a Bitter Pill To Swallow For Eubank Jr.

IBO super middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr. has not been active since getting his career best win over Olympic gold medal winner James DeGale. And there are several big fights waiting for him, including a rematch with WBO super middleweight world champion Billy Joe Saunders. Back in 2014, Saunders handed Eubank Jr. the first defeat of his career with a close twelve round decision.

Outside of UK, who cares? There's better fights for both guys, neither seem to be looking for them, or are active enough.

pretty much, the rematch could have been built up if BJS could stop acting like a monkey - I'd want the rematch just to see BJS lose...though I doubt Eubank has it in him as he wasted his career looking pretty for instagram imo rather than honing his skills.

The one fight I want to see BJS in is a rematch with Eubank and losing this time. Don't know how BJS actually has fans when he has tested positive for banned substances, acted like a monkey all the time and he openly admitted to ducking golovkin....disgraceful really. (NOTE: BJS ducked ggg, I'm not trying to make a pro-ggg comment, just stating a fact that BJS admitted himself. I know of the fight they were rumoured to be having in 2017 as well but it couldn't happen or else the Canelo fight was off the table)

Sauders is 30 years old and he is still bragging about his Split Decision win over Eubank Jr from 5 years ago because its in his top 3 wins.

        Sauders is a joke.

Eubank is a two weight IBO champion.

This is often overlooked by the Eubank haters....

Saunders is simply not making the most of his talent and wasting his career by inactivity and fighting C level guys.

Neither are in any position to throw shade on each other - they should fight each other again and get well paid for doing so.

Billy Joe talks to much his fight against Eubank Jr was close some say even a draw. Eubank Jr started to slow but was the stronger finisher so Saunders needs to take this in perspective, if they rematch Chris won't make the mistake again. Saunders has not looked like a world beater the only decent win is against Lemieux but that's it, his fight against Akaviv was a home town decision in my opinion and I thought Akavov not only won but dominated and his no world beater. His lost his world title because of a failed drug test he won the vacant belt by beating a virtually unknown and talks like Canelo and GGG are avoiding him. If he fought Andrade he would of been exposed because the reasons his given for his failed drug test is rubbish otherwise he would of challenged it but didn't, you got to ask yourself why. His upcoming fight is against another average fighter but if talking rubbish was a sport he would be a world class champion.
