Imaged if he did fight those fights in his prime? Also he wimped on the De la Hoya rematch.
He would of whooped them even worse back then & he didn't rematch Oscar cuz he knew what they were up to....He's one smart MF! T.B.E.!!!!

Classic Quote: Cotto Calls Out Floyd

A lot of ring observers do not know that Miguel Cotto was eager to put his then-undefeated record up against Floyd Mayweather in a Welterweight unification clash of the unbeatens in 2008 however the greatest ducker of all time wasn’t up for that challenge. Mayweather and his team claimed to the media Cotto wasn’t a big enough name and he didn’t draw big enough pay-per-view numbers to deserve a fight with Mayweather when it was prime time in 2008. But here is a quote from the normally respectful Miguel Cotto that questions the bravery of Floyd and clearly shows he meant business and wanted to put his fists on the pound-for-pound pretender.

“When you call yourself the best boxer in the world you have to fight with the best. There are other names at 147 pounds and if Mayweather does not have the courage to get in the ring to fight with me, my career has to continue. I won’t wait for him.” –Miguel Cotto 2008

Why? Because he didn't want to lose his 0. He also avoided Barrera and Morales AND of course Pacquiao until he was coming off a brutal KO loss to Marquez.

History is ALREADY leaving Floyd behind, barely anyone talks about him anymore and he just retired a few years ago. We are still talking about Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis lol. We aren't going to be talking about Floyd in 20 years, he was just a scam artist who made a lot of money cherry picking his fights, good defensive fighter, but boring, nobody will ever want to watch his garbage boring ass fights over guys like Tyson, Louis, Dempsey, Pacquiao, Barrera, Morales, Chavez, Duran, SRR, etc...to quote Floyd, "THE LIST GOES ON AND ON." lol Floyd stinks.

Pretty sure TR didn’t want to put Cotto in with Floyd, that was admitted

Mosley made an excuse he was going to dentist and on holiday

Let’s be honest, before 2007, Floyd wasn’t the kind of draw where everyone is scrambling to fight him like in later years for the money. Back then you could find similar paydays for easier fights, so guys like Mosley could avoid it

You can make cases where Floyd might’ve avoided a fight, but he was also avoided back in the early-mid 2000’s too

I can't really answer with fact, but he was always more interested in money than he was in legacy. With that info, is it really such a strange decision to potentially avoid somebody like Margz? He was an absolute beast at the weight and unless you're a PW volume type with an iron chin or a power house puncher, then I'm not really sure why you would really consider getting into the ring with the guy (given what I said about money)

However let's be entirely honest with ourselves, this post or a post like this would still have existed - even if he fought Margz or Cotto in their absolute prime.

Floyd is a fraud. Pac wants a rematch for $100m and Floyd said he would do it only if it's a fake fight fraud exhibition. What a fraud pretender.
