Kovalev is bigger and better than ggg. It’s like canelo said, after dominating ggg Mexican style in the rematch gennad isn’t a challenge to him anymore. Genna barely squeaked by derev and many said he lost that fight. Golov is over the hill after canelo beat him senseless and had him backing up all night long in that second fight. These guys canelo has dominated like Golovkin, Chavez jr etc don’t deserve rematches.

That’s why I used to buy and still do buy PPV’s to support the boxers I give two shts about Top Skank or Goldenboy’s Buttplugs. I also give two shts about networks.

I’m glad they ALL are getting paid for their work. I’m just wondering how sustainable is it??? Ohh well I’ll enjoy it while it lasts and hopefully it’s stays.

I’ve already got my money’s worth for the year and we still have Regis/Taylor, CanKovelo, Donaire/Inoue, AJ/Ruiz

That right there is worth $100*+ and it’s only gonna cost me $20 (I pay $10 a month).

Man I’m just posting it real? But hey I’m VERY glad these guys are making $$$$. Only downsize is now everyone wants to get paid WAY more if they fight Canelo, AJ, and GGG. I’m amazed Sergiy only got $5.5??? But now it looks like he’ll get even more in a rematch with GGG. He bet on himself and won

Does anyone even care about Canelo fighting Kovalev? If Canelo wins it proves nothing except that Kov is old and way past his prime. If Canelo loses he can just use the excuse he went too far up in weight.

If Canelo beats Kovalev and the low numbers come in from that fight I'm sure dazn will be putting tremendous pressure on partyboy Dela Hoya to crack the whip on his boy Canelo to get in line and follow his master's orders.

Most fighters would do the same to save face.
Are you that dense!? Actions, facts and Canelo’s statement to the general public, and media clearly states that he is in control. Not DAZN, not skipper, not GBP, but Bossnelo dictates what’s going on with his career. Is not like he is hiding from DAZN he is clearly and openly saying I chose who I fight with. And no body else.

              Nope.

Only idiots think Kovalev is easy for a Middleweight. Industry know darn well that any 160-168 fighter too could call out Kovalev or fight a LHW, but nobody is doing it.

The only boxers whom set the standards high have been Rigondeaux and Mikey Garcia to leap beyond territories. The only others before that were catch weight PAC vs ? and before that RJJ, BHOP, Toney...

So given all those circumstances Canelo gets a lot of respect. If in theory David Benavidez, whom is HUGE and a normal LHW on fight night or wants real smoke, then he would be at 175 already. Though seeing how he handled Dirrell recently I doubt he hurts any of the top LHWs.

And regarding DAZN, gets better by the day!

I feel they'd be more successful drawing in more subscribers if they just pushed the Canelo Vs Kovalev fight and displayed the size difference in commercials. More casuals will tune in once they realize this fight is a big risk for Canelo.
I think this is where HBO thrived. They were able to promote their Boxing brand to MILLIONS of NON BOXING FANS. Think of what 24/7 did for HBO. On DAZN you're literally depending on the HARDCORE Boxing fan in the US to bring in subs with its major star fighting just twice a year. I'm also sure there's tons of people doing what you're doing and ultimately it does make sense, and I haven't even mentioned Illegal Streams that are pretty easy to access these days (Firestick / IPTV, etc).

Canelo’s actions speak for themselves. He was looking to fight anyone other than ggg to the point he was willing to sit out and not fight in sept. If his sole interest was kovalev, he wouldn’t have tried to make a fight with derev. Kovalev bailed him out of an embarrassing situation by accepting the fight on a quick turn around...no doubt he had an extra few mil thrown his way to make it happen.

I said initially they only approved two fighters that he could fight. Is that not pressure? I will answer for you. Yes it's pressure. They later added to the list but for Canelo to say they didn't pressure him is BS. He's already making comments that he might fight Golovkin again for fianancial reasons after saying he has no interest in fighting him ever again. I just can't recall exactly if it was after Derevyanchenko and Golovkin or before. I'm pretty sure his change of where he stands was after the fight.
