Still, I hope the best for Usyk in this div.
Let's not forget this was Usyk's first fight in about a year. Plus, didn't he already have a bicep tear, or something like that which pushed back the date originally?

I'm hoping by his next fight he'll show us the same type of Usyk that thoroughly outclassed Gassiev. Hopefully he gets one more tune-up (ish) fight before going for the top guys.

Everyone has an excuse, but a lot of guys will go out there and use opportunities like this to impress. Doing what Usyk did gives you a bad rep. As a fan of his, I don't like to see it. It's embarrassing when a fighter you support plays so cautious against a no-hoper.

Looked to me like things went to plan. Usyk fought Witherspoon like a White Shark hunts a seal. Waiting till he’s too weak to fight before making the kill, which would almost certainly have happened within a round or 2.
... but why not like an Orca hunting a White Shark?...

You also mention Usyk being another Adamek. The same Adamek who beat a prime Cris Arreola (just 1 loss to Vitali), whom beat up a PRIME undefeated Witherspoon. Same Arreola who KO'd Seth Mitchel in 1, whom also KO'd Witherspoon.
He busted up Usyks face with the handful of punches he did land, if he's in shape he's at least going 12 and if he

Rn Adamek is more proven, and he was getting rocked by Arreola, Grant etc. At HW. This division is better than that division though.

                This....
Check Usyk’s track record, he explodes in late rounds.

It sounds like Witherspoon said he’s not trying to criticize Usyk, doesn’t it?
Witherspoon has come off as nothing but a class act throughout all of this.

Oh yeah. I know Orcas are more err ... apexish.. than Great Whites, I was merely observing that droopy Chazz doesn't look much like anyone's idea of any kind of apex predator. The lack of similarities between Chazz and a Great White is, in fact, quite breathtaking.

... (in fact Orcas are dolphins, tbh...)
