Former undisputed cruiserweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk is now officially in the heavyweight division. On Saturday night at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Usyk stopped division veteran Chazz Witherspoon after seven rounds of action. Witherspoon (38-4) took the fight on late notice after original opponent, Tyrone Spong, was pulled from the contest after testing positive for a banned substance earlier this week.

Did they ever ask him what was up with his shoulder/arm ? He kept doin that weird shake like something was bothering him.

Side note: there's a lot of bi-tchin and moaning about him wanting to fight AJ and Wilder. I say f-ck it if he feels ready let him prove himself. I'd rather see Usyk possibly get beat by the best HWs than to keep wasting his best years toying with everyone at Cruiser.

He definitely doesn't have KO power. still doesn't seem 100% fit.
But should be able to hang out with elites because of his pedigree.

Only in boxing .... Fight a total and complete scrub, and then expect to face the Champion as your next opponent.

Usyk, must be taking lessons from Haye and Amir Kcon.

            USYK is a phukin’ Gangsta!
He might lack of power and size, but his boxing skills, feet movement is going to bring problems for allot of heavies.

If the man wants to fight for the belt, let him fight.

Clearly realised HW is not his division and that he wont survive many interims so he's pushing for the money fight before he has the chance to be laid out by someone like Miller or Whyte.

Cool, does he get to pump himself full of PED like those 2 losers?

Either way both of them take him out like a blind date!

He won’t get demolished early due to his IQ, skills and footwork but once they realize he can’t hurt them they’ll just go counter for counter with him an it’ll be all over!

                    AJ stops him in 10
Ruiz gets him outta there in 11

Either way he won’t see the final bell unless he fights a perfect fight each time!
