He outworked an old fat guy that was inactive.

That's it, fatigue ended this fight.

He didn't knock him out, he didn't starch him, I don't think he really even buckled him.

Showcase fight that wasn't a showcase, in fact, it hurt his stock.

He won’t get demolished early due to his IQ, skills and footwork but once they realize he can’t hurt them they’ll just go counter for counter with him an it’ll be all over!

      AJ stops him in 10
Ruiz gets him outta there in 11

Either way he won’t see the final bell unless he fights a perfect fight each time!
Not saying AJ wouldn’t stop him but if they even get to the 10th, I’m looking for an exhausted Joshua to be looking for the exit.

Sure, he is Eastern European and for them we double our standards and expectations, right? How else can we ensure they never get full credit?

There are a lot of casuals on this posts... jeez! this is boxing.. not who hits the hardest competition.. Usyk won every single round, Witherspoon landed 21 punches total and was done after round 7 lol Easy work! This is Usyk's first heavyweight fight, better opponents will come and very soon. And Fury, Wilder and Joshua have had trouble with "smaller" heavyweights, none of them was on Usyk's skill level.

The forum is littered with idiots , 80% are wilder fans and 10% fury ones, with the rest actually knowing what they are talking about. Welcome to boxing. lol

Is Usyk on another level ? Hes going to have problems with Joshua, and a select few are 50/50,hes a top 5 guy though ,Wilder is a clown and his followers critique everyone but hes actually 1 and 1 in relevant fights in a decade.

Usyk was the WBO mandatory because he moved up from cruiserweight being the undisputed champion.. before he even fought witherspoon he was mandatory. No "expectations".. he just is due a fight!

Great boxer. No idea if his power will be effective against an elite heavyweight. Let’s see Eddie serve up one of his roid squad like Hughie or Whyte. Rivas and Parker, who aren’t power punchers, had PEDillian on ***** Street. That would be a barometer for Usyk. And Hughie has chin and not much else.

After Chazz Witherspoon??? Usyk doesn't have enough power to deal with the top heavyweights. He could get seriously hurt...

I saw nothing from Usyk in (1) HW fight against a last minute replacement that isn’t a contender or even thought of as a contender anymore to suggest he could compete against the likes of Fury, Wilder, Ruiz, or Joshua. I am not easily fooled like “some” boxing fans on this forum.

He shouldn’t be able to leap frog to the winner of Fury vs Wilder or even Ruiz vs Joshua without beating some of the other top HW contenders in the division. And I think he would have a tough time beating Ortiz, Whyte, Parker, Miller, or even Kownacki. Sorry he is being hyped up too much for me right now as a HW contender or a potential or future HW title holder.

I need to see him in with more tougher opposition in the “HW” division. He was impressive at cruiser weight. I was glued in watching him carefully every round on DAZN, just not going to get overly excited with him beating Witherspoon, who was a last minute replacement and would have gotten stopped by all fighters I mentioned above too.

If Andy Ruiz lands like Witherspoon was able to it could put Usyk on queer street.

I would acclimate to heavyweight with a few more fights before challenging for a title if I was Usyk.
