I've obviously seen all kinds of opinions of this fight both here and everywhere else. I have not always followed boxing closely but have again the last few years.

I'm not a Joshua fan or hater. With this fight, I don't think it's as black and white as he mentally wanted out or he didn't. I believe with how hard and the location of Ruiz 1st brutal left hook Joshua was hurt badly, and I think it left him in a daze for probably a few days after.

I think 75% of boxers would have fallen back over trying to get up and then people would say it just like Lewis one lucky punch. I'm amazed he didn't get tko in round 4...or 5....or 6... He clawed back into it and by the 4th knockdown he got up, but also didn't want to continue because he knew he had no chance and would continue to take a beating.

That may have permanently messed his head up, because from what I've seen he does have a weaker chin, but is able to get back off the mat. Can't wait for rematch.

It's a mentality thing. Fury will fight back through anything and in his mind refuses to lose, he will fight and hustle no matter how the fight is going. Losing, down, injured, cut, whatever, the Gypsy King fights on and shows he wants to fight on. With "No Soul", you could see he wasn't willing to do whatever it takes to get back in the fight, he just wanted out and accepted his defeat really.

Yeah, he got up several times, but the last knockdown, he showed clearly that he did not want to continue. Also, in the earlier rounds, he was very timid to the heat Ruiz was frying him up with. He will fold the same way in the rematch, put your money on it. I have.

I agree I think Ruiz will win the rematch. He was wise to back up as Ruiz peppered him with shots. I have no clue why he did not try to stay at longer range. I question his IQ as well as he is lost on what to do with constant counter coming at him.

I know what you mean by the look he had after 4th KD but I feel like it was more from a sense of his head isn't right but I can see both sides. He asking his corner what roujd it is and like 5th round asks if it was his hook that got him..... He seemed lost

He quit the 4th time. The weakest champ in history, mentally.

Look at Ali and Floyd they can float and run when chase by a midget like Joe Frazier and Pacman. Ruiz will gassed out after eight rounds of chasing!?
