State of the Welterweight Division

I dont know. I just see Errol Spence as a natural sized welterweight to me. To me Kell Brook seemed like a bigger welterweight than him. Kermit Cintron was like a gigantic welterweight to me due to his height.

- -Kermit is 5-7, but he has a lanky feel to him because of his reach and lean physiotype.

We have a 6-7 welter today. Prob going nowhere, yet instructive as to what young men can boil down to under modern weighin rules.

Due to the unexpected and unfortunate car accident involving Errol Spence Jr., What fights would you like to see now for 2020 since we do not know exactly how long it will take EJ to rehab from any injuries he may have suffered???




Manny Pacquiao is there, along with Terrence Crawford, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Yordenis Ugas, and (I will even mention him because he refuses to go away) Amir Khan.


I am not going to list my picks. I want to hear from the fans. Also let it be known of fighters you may want to see move down in weight or those that you think can drop down in weight.

Until Spence recovers, I'll go with something like:

Pacquiao vs Garcia
Thurman vs Crawford
Porter vs Ugas rematch

Kermit is 5'11". I've seen him in person. And I am 5'7". He was taller than me.

As long as they don't try to put em on PPV any mix of Crawford , Thurman , Garcia or Porter's fine with me.
I can do without Ugas in the mix. Not really a fan of his style.
