    State of the Welterweight Division

Due to the unexpected and unfortunate car accident involving Errol Spence Jr., What fights would you like to see now for 2020 since we do not know exactly how long it will take EJ to rehab from any injuries he may have suffered???

Manny Pacquiao is there, along with Terrence Crawford, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Yordenis Ugas, and (I will even mention him because he refuses to go away) Amir Khan.

I am not going to list my picks. I want to hear from the fans. Also let it be known of fighters you may want to see move down in weight or those that you think can drop down in weight.

Pac vs KHAN then winner and loser retires

Crawford vs porter.. i bet porter gives him the same hell he gave spence... might even have a better chance of winning as crawford ain’t that big

Danny vs keith rematch.. winner gets spence lol

      Lol.

I would like to see if Crawford can use his distance skill against Porter. Porter closes in on fighters like a Shark.

I see Danny Garcia as being very anxious right now. It's been a long time since he was racking up high profile wins one after another. Keith is Keith. You can say what you want about him but hes won every fight except the Pacquiao fight.

I see a long road to recovery for Spence. Maybe the sanctioning bodies Baby him for a little while like they did Thurman, but I see him getting stripped of a title if not both if his recovery time is too long.

Pacquiao still has 1-2 fights left than retires. Thurman needs a comeback fight, could be Ugas?

Crawford will probably fight Kavaliauskas, and than maybe even Collazo -Uzbek winner.

If Spence gets stripped because of inactivity, Porter/Thurman/Ugas/danny are main candidates for his belts.

Nah... even floyd won’t be able to use his distance skill with that version of porter. Unless porter lets them.
He will hug, bully and wrestle you.. and personally I like watching the intensity — unless it’s against pacman who i see him winning against at this point. He going to wear the old man..
Porter will also do damage to that chubby version of Mikey garcia at welter i see him knocking him out via non stop wrestling... or the likes of marquez (pre hulk or even the hulk version) just not a true welter.

If Thurman never gets back to his top form then i see garcia having a good chance of hurting him next time they see each other... that might make fans actually want to see him against spence.

I think Bud has a better jab than Spence. When I fought I didnt throw a jab at you or to touch you. I threw it through you. That one punch makes a difference in any fight, and coming from both stances as Crawford may have a chance at keeping the bull at bay. But that's why we want to see the fight.

I called Manny over Keith from the beginning, and I will call him over Porter if they fight as well. Manny just has too much experience, not in terms of what he has made look easy, but in terms of what he has fought through. I think Manny wont show a sharp decline until the end of 2020.

Mikey I didnt even put on the list. Not because I dont like him or respect his talent, it's just that his talent is suited for a well matched welterweight. He cant just jump in with any top welter like Manny.

I said Danny was anxious. He wants to be the guy again. Anyone that he fights next is going to be in for a hard fight.

Thurman has to stay healthy. That's my biggest thing with him. Long layoffs dont do him any justice.

Calm down Z. They not fighting over drug money lol.

But yes. I totally get where you're coming from. There are two belts possibly up for grabs right now and if Spence is able to defend any of them, he is in for a hell of a fight. It just was a weird twist of fate for Spence. Life changes in the blink of an eye. You and I both know it.

It's always the same in any war. The spoils go to the victor. And welterweight just went into a free for all.

Crawford needs to cross the street. Or tell Arum to open up the wallet and pay for Porter to fight him on ESPN.

Just like DAZN paid for Jose Ramirez to fight Hooker.
