Bivol is clearly not a KO artist, but he doesn`t care about that. he just dominates his opponents to decision.

Bivol is in between weight classes... Smith, Benavidez, (Zurdo) are bigger than him at 168...

I can't be sure, but perhaps Bivol's team is taking a low-risk wait and see approach, for now, doing the bare minimum to hold on to the WBA belt ensuring that going into negotiations with either the winner of Gvozdyk v Beterbiev or Canelo v Kovalev that they hold some value and leverage.

Bivol and his team use to be far busier and seemed to take on higher risk opponents, with Bivol always expressing his desire to unify the division (although which fighter doesn't follow this script?).

This is why I'm against Canelo's cavalier weight jumping because if he does beat Kovalev, I bet he doesn't go anywhere near the other three, which will delay what finally seems to be movement towards unification after a long period of stagnation.

Lets see how Canelo does against Kovalev. But from what I saw tonight I think Canelo would actually have a chance of beating Bivol.

Bivols footwork is outstanding. He can hit as well. He is so technical sound. Despite he is natural super middleweight he may become unified champion in light heavyweight easily. Canelo will avoid him like the plague..

Bivol was almost TKO’d by a fringe contender. He’s is the weakest link at LHW. Followed by Biterbiev.

The weakest champ in LHW is Kovalev.

Haha whatever. Just because you hate Canelo or Kov. Doesn’t make it tru. Like I said fringe contenders had them both hurt BAD!!! I bet $$$$$ on Kov. Against both If/when they fight and reason why most experts have him ranked higher.

Bivol is unbeaten world champ. Your hate won`t change that.
