First off, I pray for Patrick and hope that he can recover from this. When I was watching this fight, in the early rounds I got a bad feeling. Day was in it and very competitive but Conwell was applying alot of punishment. I recalled the punishment he took in the Adames fight just prior and hoped something bad wouldn't happen as the fight went on.

I was in the other room when the knockout occurred but saw it on replay. My heart goes out to him and his loved ones, I've heard nothing but good things about him as a person and I greatly respected his willingness to take on all comers. My heart also goes out to Charles, it was obvious by his reaction once he saw Patrick was hurt that he felt absolutely gutted.
