Not Floyd, he retires in 2015. So no.
Maybe fighter of half a decade, but not fighter of the decade.

The answer is Pac. Quite simple.

Can't look past Amir Khan. Neither Floyd nor Manny dared face the chinless wonder. And also, when he beat "Some guy" in Saudi Arabia, that win secured his best fighter of the decade spot.

Why doesn't Mayweather ever fight the whole ten years he could have easily won this and the previous FOTD award.

You might as well just say Canelo then because everything is in place for Canelo to win including his best friends the Vegas judges. Canelo is about a 5 to 1 favorite to win.

My vote is for Mayweather even without fighting the whole decade. He has no losses and wins over Canelo and Pacquiao. I am not a big Mayweather fan but fair is fair and I think he is the winner. I thought GGG beat Canelo twice and Canelo cherry picked Kovalev. I don't rate Ward high at all and thought Kovalev deserved to win the first fight and was fouled badly in the 2nd fight. Ward is one of the dirtiest fighters I have seen and more of a wrestler than a boxer.

Like hell it is. Luckily rabid Canelo fans don't get to decide. Many thing a very old man beat him twice and 37 year old Mayweather beat him easily. He won't get it for KOing 5 to 1 underdog Kovalev. That's a setup fight. Ring magazine will give it to Canelo since Oscar owns that magazine but most other places will give it to Mayweather.
