Idec is acting like GGG hasn't behaved like a hypocrite numerous times. Also, almost as soon as HBO started hyping GGG, his team declared to Ward and other guys calling him out that they were making decisions that were in their interest and weren't concerned about what the public or press had to say about it. As for Canelo, he has nothing to prove after beating GGG at his own game along with dishing out the type of physical beating that he seems to have never fully recovered from. If he chooses to circle back and try to finish him off for good then more power to him, but right now he's got bigger fish to fry.

This is such a cringe fanboi statement right here, GTFO with this bs.

Ggg fought 1 person that openly admitted to ducking nelo & who NOBODY thought was anywhere near the difficulty for nelo as Kovalev(same Kov ggg would never fight,he AVOIDED everyone above 160 not named Rolls),you ggg fans(including you) were saying Deryev was an easy fight for ggg/nelo & unimportant.. including when it was being reported nelo would fight him.

Now all of a sudden "ggg is fighting the guys nelo avoids" ggg has been ORDERED by the sanctioning bodies for over a yr to fight Charlo for a guaranteed shot at nelo but he openly ducked to fight an unranked 35 yr old prospect(@ a cw),he did the same with Andrade who he could've faced whenever he wanted but openly ducked.

Ggg said "my momma said I can't fight fo belts no mo,I also can't fight mexican style no mo" when they asked him if hed face Andrade when he signed for Dazn, his promoter answered :"we don't Know who hell fight but not Andrade for sure... Just not Andrade",he said"I'm not interested in belts anymore because Charlo/Andrade have them besides nelo" but as soon as he got to face another smaller mw than him for a vacant trinket that Deryev stole by using a gggesque manuevre, suddenly yet again DivaG did a ggg.

When ggg actually gives Jacobs or Deryev a rematch,or faces Charlo/Andrade then you can talk. Til then zip it.. capiche!?

GGG never fought at 168 in his life, kinda kills your silly argument...no?

The world witnessed Canelo vacating the IBF belt to avoid a prime Derevychenko. Canelo could have closed that deal in 30 seconds but insultingly low-balled instead because he didn't want it and needed a way out. And how can anyone forget Canelo vacating his belt rather than fight a prime GGG. Those are just facts, Canelo has been doing this for years. He only fights old or weight drained names. Lara and Floyd were just a miss calculation and he lost both fights. As for Charlo, Eddie Hearn offered him life changing money and Charlo choose instead to fight the guy Mungia beat. Nothing says hell no louder than taking 10 times less to fight a can, Charlo simply doesn't want it.

You may have missed it, but that's not your fault. Now get out there and Google it and come back and edit your silly post before anyone reads it.

If it makes you feel better I predicted Derevychenko would beat old Glovkin but I was wrong, it happens. Now get out there and do your home work, get your facts straight and come back, no shame in that.

Dervy is too much of a risk, with no reward. He's beaten him and will gain neither legacy or money by fighting him. He should look to fight a mandatory and then unify, or vice versa before facing Canelo in May.
I'm a big fan of GGG and Canelo and would love to see them get it on again, it has to happen, neither of the previous fights was decisive, so it'd be great to have some closure. Given GGG's last performance I could see Canelo making no mistake this time, but I'd never count GGG out, as I'm sure he'll raise his game. My guess is if he manages to win he'll retire
Thus, the typical 'Dervy is too much of a risk, with no reward' comment. If your idol is so great, he HAS to rematch Derevyanchenko. Because Derevyanchenko HAS shown he's a force in the division. He gave GGG one of his 3 toughest fights. Stop coddling GGG. Accept the rematch WILL happen, because it HAS to happen. Otherwise, old GGG will be seen as even further shot than he already is.

GGG took a $20 million fight instead and then stepped in with Dereyanchenko, something Canelo to this day refuses to do.

GGG beat Dervy by UD. Something Canelo, Charlo, Andrade and BJS haven't done.

GGG beat Derevy by UD, it wasn't close, it's done.
