Canelo has not undergone Vada testing since May this year.

The thing is, there is a huge size gap between 160 and 175. It traditionally has caused many great fighters to bite off more than they can chew (Tiger v Foster for example). Canelo has a great, great chin but I think Kovalev could stop him if he landed the right shot/shots.

Why is something fishy happening? Cause you said so?
Cause you don't wanna believe this is a straight up fight with no catch weights and no rehydration clauses??
            You hating ass punk!

Reading between the lines thats almost an admission that in the past he'd been putting on weight the wrong way i.e. PED's...
In fitness circles, "putting on weight the right way" refers to trying to gain lean body mass (muscle, mostly) without gaining much bodyfat. Obviously, if Canelo simply wanted to gain scale weight he could spend all day sitting on a bean bag in his underwear, eating ice cream and drinking beer.

In your opinion, would Evander Holyfield have been more successful as a heavyweight had he entered the ring weighing in the 190s, as he did when fighting in the cruiserweight division?

Canelo isn’t putting on any weight, he’ll be just shy of 180 like usual. Kovalev will be just over 180 which is natural for him recently. Kovalev will have height and some reach but not very much weight on Canelo. Canelo will have a big advantage in years, that is why he’s a big betting favorite.

This is no David vs Goliath, not even close.
