Who the heck gets married now a days? It's startling how much the institution of marriage has fallen out of favor. Probably because of the divorce rate which is high. Young people are living together and just walking away if it doesn't work out.

I'm not talking about fighters specifically. It's declining in every walk of life and in every social economic group. There are studies and papers written about the phenomenon. I personally feel marriage is the best way for two people to raise a family and to share their lives but it's falling out of favor.

Cultural anthropology speaks to the study of the social mores humans have established and evolved around the world, but it is a bucket that marriage falls in and doesn’t describe what it is or its origins. It simply one established way of living your life. For example polygamy, abstinence, beastiality and canbalism can also be studied in the field of Cultural Anthropology. Clearly these are not the same things?

Guys Mum Marriage has existed long before this recently coined term “Cultural Anthropology.”

So what was it before? It was a means of providing accountability for sexual behavior and man’s crudest attempt to establish order in a civilization w/o birth control. It helped ensure children had two parents protecting them and men could be certain their children were their own.

Today it is important for population control and taxing citizens for choosing instinct over “civilized,”structure. Although today’s technology allows one to be polygamous and still there for their children the mores has been indoctrinated in the religious order. That being said if the powers that be let go of marriage the whole religious structure would fall apart.

In other words it was a helpful construct that men put into place to control men and women. It had its proper place because human kind did indeed get more focused on doing other men’s work. Whether these original motives be divine or selfish we may never know.

However getting back to your irrelevant point... Errol is taking care of his kids and their mother in the exact same way a husband does. So what is your point? His kids will want for nothing. So why are you bringing this up again?
