It sounds like he was street racing or something, which is an incredibly foolish thing to do, especially without a seatbelt. He’s lucky to be alive. Still, I do hope that he can make a full recovery and continue his career, although the way his condition is described as “expected to survive” doesn’t inspire great confidence.

Oh, and regardless of what you think of him as a prizefighter, you goons posting “karma” comments need to knock it off. Show some class for once, for God’s sake.

Seat belts wouldn't have helped. In fact it might have been worse if he was going so fast the car flipped multiple times. He could have gotten trapped, crushed, etc.

Prayers for Spence! And his family. Now on a real note... he kept clowning o Thurman and his injuries, maybe the lord is serving him humble pie. He won’t ever box again. When you here ,”expected to survive” that’s a pretty grim outlook. He will have years of therapy, and unlike Dirrell and Jacobs, this injury sustained in the accident can’t go into remission.
