    • Wow. Dang. Makes me think of Paul Williams and Diego Corrales. Praying for his recovery and ability to continue his career without physical hinderance which could put him in more danger during a fight.

If he can't continue his career, then hopefully he's done well with the money he's made and can manage it. He's made more than many of us will ever see, so he shouls be able to. Just no need for 5 foreign sports cars and clubs every night.

        • Hope this brother is OK and learns not to fall into that need to speed again. That lure of speeding is no joke. I remember driving my friends BMW to ******ia and the damn thing started vibrating (when I hit 102) like it was about to fall apart.....good thing it forced me to slow down. My prayers go out to that brothers recovery and familys comfort at this times.... Wow! when you think about it: No one is immune to poor decision making.....Paul Williams and Diego Corrales are like prime examples. We all gotta be careful no matter who we are....

          • He sounds as though he is lucky to be able to live. Luckier still to go through what the article states without injuring or killing any innocent bystanders. Dallas, like all big cities today, is covered in cameras, so what is written here describing the sequence of events is likely to be true and if so, the definition of the word "accident" is likely being stretched to the breaking point. Very recently Spence was mentioning his hope to be able to one day leave the sport both financially sound and his head above his neck, where it belongs. Maybe it doesn't always seem to be so, but the "universe" seemingly enjoys the opportunities to prove it's paying attention to not only life or whatever as a whole, but to each and every specific one of us.

            • Prayers up, i hope he wasnt under the influence, errol is a heavy drinker, at least nobody was harmed. Hope he pulls thru and his injuries are not career ending. Ferraris and most high power cars can flip or go out of control over a little pot hole or slippery spot. These are danger cars at high speeds.

                • Big prayers up for Spence and his entire family, especially his children. Boxing is just a sport, life is much more valuable. I hope his kids are ok having 3 myself. Class by Shawn Porter and Terrance Crawford and other boxers and fellow athletes sending their prayers on Twitter also.

On another note, we take driving, and cars for granted, these are big powerful machines we are using and are quite dangerous, we forget how critical a crash can be, please be safe out there driving, always buckle your seat belt, and if you don’t HAVE to go out, stay home
I was in ICU back in 2015 for a month (Only was able to use my legs again the week i got out). Took me 3 months of rehab to get full motion again because for every day you have no motion is 2 days of rehab.

He is physically fit so cut by a month. To get back into full fighting shape? 6 months to a year (best case). Lets see how extensive his injuries are.

                    • So injuries aren't life threatening but very possible that he'll never fight at 100% again. Get well soon Champ
