When the WBC said the following, “we’ll keep a close eye” on the situation my response was....

WBC translation, “we care more about the money filling our pockets than we do about the integrity of the sport. Therefore we’ll “keep a close eye” on this matter and do absolutely nothing because we sanction violence outside the ring.”

Winner winner, we can call these things from a mile away! It starts with the local commission (heavily influenced by the big dogs first (WBC) then followed closely behind with a “statement” from the WBC. Everyone watch this is how it will play out and I called it first.
