Sanders was tall and had heavy hands. Both things that Klitschko had problems with. And we can speculate what happened in the first AJ Ruiz fight all day, but it will all be settled in the second fight, which I see going like the Lewis vs Rahman II fight. I could be wrong of course, but that's the beauty in actually fighting someone, we all get to find out. Unlike Fury and Wilder, who refuse to fight anyone but both talk crap all dayI don't think he's a division monster at all. I just think he's better than AJ, until AJ proves otherwise. What I find funny is the absurd lengths that AJ supporters go to rationalize away what was plain before objective fans' eyes. Ruiz didn't get lucky. He kicked ass all night long. Go back and watch.
As far as the Sanders fight goes, what exactly do you remember then? As far as I can tell, Sanders is a about the closest opponent, style-wise that I can think of that Wlad fought. The result of fighting a guy with good boxing skills and much faster hands was devastating for Wlad.Comment

For sure. Looking forward to an exciting rematch. I won't be upset by any outcome except a boring fight or a ****ty decision.Sanders was tall and had heavy hands. Joshua and Wlad share a lot of positives and negatives. Both are great physical specimens with excellent power and a good jab (Wlad's jab was better than just good, actually). Neither has a great chin or great stamina. Neither can adapt to adversity, when the fight varies from the script they flounder.
I can see where Wlad would identify with a fighter like Joshua and not with a fighter like Ruiz.Comment

Lmfao Chris Arreola is Wlads best win of his career. Probably his most viewed fight too!
Heritage & eating habits aside aside; Ruiz has much more respect for boxing than Arreola who again was Wlads best performance hahaha
But I gotta show some respect for the Klitchkos, they cured me of insomnia...Comment

Dude. Wilder called out vlad for years. Even Emanuel stuart saw the potential in wilder. And Ruiz was most likely an amateur when vlad was prime lol... I'm guessing you're an aj fan spewing nonsense like that. Now we all know the truth about aj. The only tests out there for the top guys at heavy (wilder and fury) are eachother atm. Since even if aj wins this rematch in thrilling fashion the real boxing fans understand what would happen against a wilder. Fury stops aj in my opinion as well. We all know vlad was a hype job that didn't have a dance partner to show it till he was beaten by fury and then the old man vlad had aj going life and death. Vlad wasn't as good as any other elite heavy. His generation also was the weakest generation of heavyweight boxing probably in the history of the sport... so c'mon man you really think its the pbc fanboys fault for feeling the way they do? Cause they got a point.LOL. These giddy Deontay Ruiz fans cant control their fanboyism. But once again the PBC fangimps bring out their favourite word WOULD. I never heard Ruiz calling Wlad out when he was dominant. Ruiz was about as quiet as Wilder was until Wlad retired and that was silence.Comment
