Jacobs best win? Maybe Quillan as underdog and the close one over Dereyvchenko. He gave a close fight to Canelo too and I’m sure you think Canelo is a top 10-20 ATG, correct? If Canelo is that good and has 400 dimensions why is the general perception that he lost at least one of those fights to GGG, probably both? Don’t tell me you’re a Whitaker didn’t beat Chavez he gets no credit type guys?
Can we please stop trying to make average boxers great?

You yanks are obsessed with AJ.
Spence and AJ are the same age at 29. And while most welterweights peak before 30, heavyweights don't usually peak until their early 30s. However, in your hateful heart - you think Spence has the most time to improve as a welterweight but AJ who's a heavyweight can't. Typical yank with an agenda.
At 29, AJ has already achieved more than any American heavyweight in recent memory apart from Mike Tyson at the same age. Deal with it. Heck, he has achieved more than Lennox Lewis at the same age.
Stop lumping the guy with your overrated American boxers like the bummy Wilder and Spence. Wilder ought to be a farmer and Spence is **** average.Last edited by BangEM; 10-07-2019, 07:31 PM.Comment

Just to provide some balance...based on level at the time they fought, Mugabi is probably Hagler's 2nd best win - 3rd at worst certainly...many would say Jacobs is GGG's 2nd best win, 3rd in a way if you thought GGG beat Nelo twice as I did
Mugabi literally lost every time in his career that he stepped up...if you want to try and list his best win, please feel free...But I am sure it will impress no one...trust me, I've looked...I mean look at his wins and tell me one thing about any of those guys.Comment

You mean like tank who was automatically a great fighter or the second coming because he’s managed by Floyd, like BRONER was made into a monster because he could make lighter weights, every generation has a dozen or so overhyped fighters who won’t reach the potential people try to talk up for them, that’s the boxing game.Comment

Ok, so who’s Canelos best “win”? Golovkin? And he beat whom? Lara? And Lara beat whom? Jacobs?
You’ve got Canelo as a top 10/20 ATG and you’ve said previously there’s no such thing as a bad scorecard or decision and Canelo was one round from a draw with Jacobs and one round from a loss and a draw with the terrible Golovkin. Dereyvchenko was like two rounds from a Golovkin win and one round from a Jacobs draw.
So your saying Canelo is a top 10/20, he’s blown you away but his best wins are controversial decisions over nobodies? And one of those he got a “draw” with?
In reality you’ve really just said Canelo is about on par with Broner (who you’ve said is better than GGG) but then again, isn’t this what you’d said all along?Comment

Has been happening in all sports for yearsA great boxer does great things on the highest level..they dont look average against B class boxers, They all usually have atleast a few Hall of fame/p4p ranked boxers on their resumes and have beaten them in impressive fashion. Every year if seems this sport is getting more and more watered down..More meaningless titles and more average boxers being claimed to be great when they are nowhere close to being great.
Media is always looking for next shiny thing to promote so ignores longevityComment
