Derevyanchenko. I think if we all showed cards it would be all over the place though so I'm in the "can't be too mad about it" camp.

I’m gonna watch it again tonight and score it. Live I felt it was a 114-113 either way type of fight. I think a lot of clean, hard headshots by GGG were missed by the commentators.

I had it 7-5 Derevyanchenko.

Funny thing is against Canelo, Jacobs and Derevyanchenko, I've scored all fights 7-5 one way or the other. Golovkin against top level opposition in guaranteed to be in a good competitive fight!

Golovkin was definitely the stronger puncher of the two so some of his shots seemed to do more damage for sure. But Derevyanchenko was just so consistent in majority of the rounds and would be landing clean shot after clean shot.

Hell of a scrap.

Mat Macklin on Sky scored it 115 - 112 Golovkin and I didn't find myself disagreeing with the way he called any of the rounds, so I'll go with Macklin's score ... 115 - 112 GGG.

I did not really score it carefully round by round because the fight was so exciting. The impression I got was that Dervy should have won by maybe 1 point.

I�m fine with anything between 114-113 to 115-112 either way. Was a very competitive fight with a lot of close rounds.

Just a real shame we never got to see it in his prime.

Even though I scored the fight to GGG I�d possibly favour Derevyannchenko, I�d definitely have to favour Canelo in a third fight as well.
