If you decide to fight, you have to live with the consequences.
That said, canceling a fight is probably not that simple.
As a fan, I'll give GGG the benefit of the doubt because he didn't look like himself.
I did notice in the second Alvarez fight, when he had the upper hand he couldn't take it to the next level and finish Alvarez.
But I'll wait another fight before I say GGG past his due date.

We'll know for sure if Golovkin was ill or not if he still looks the same the next fight. He did seem to be mucusy in an interview I saw, as he kept clearing his throat, so him being ill isn't farfetched. His face also seemed to look how it did against Rosado, where his demeanor was just so so. Not taking anything away from Chenko as he fought a great fight. Actually did think he won upon first watch.

It was very obvious GGG was sick. My guess a cold virus because he couldn't breath through his nose. From the beginning you could see him breathing through his mouth. Anyone who is fighting a cold virus and sucks it up to not miss work can have an appreciation for what he was going through. I don't belivevmany other fighters would have gone through with the fight especially with as much at stake as Golovkin put on the line. Class act!

Not to take anything away from that warrior preformance from SD! I think he must have the same conditioning coach as Parsoon from Belgium. They both would have the energizer bunny shaking it's head.

Reality Check! Head cold vs flu & fever are totally different, Michael Jordan's flu in the 1997 NBA finals didn't slow him down. With a head cold, once your adrenaline kicks in there are no adverse effects on a person....sad excuses from Hearn trying to protect an out dated mistake of an investment!

Notice that many Canelo haters don’t want to put the narrative as well that GGG obtained a lot of damage in the Canelo fights. Canelo did too, but he’s younger. GGG even had a long layoff towards Rolls. That’s ideally what fighters do when they receive serious heavy damage regardless of an iron chin. Those are permanent dents.
